Style Sourcebook
Officially launched in April, 2017, Style Sourcebook is a new product sourcing and moodboarding community for Australian renovators, decorators and design afficionados alike. The site offers users the ability to create, edit and save custom moodboards using a range of over 50,000 products from Australian furniture, homewares and accessories retailers. This range is evolving on a daily basis. The site is free for users and is monetised by retailers who pay a nominal monthly fee to have their products featured in site search results and within the moodboarding tool itself. Specific product details are available to users at any time, encouraging them to take their moodboards out shopping and purchase the relevant products for their homes in real time. The project took over one year to complete end to end. Every aspect of the site, from planning to interface design, development, content preparation and loading, testing and deployment, was carefully and thoughtfully managed so as to ensure a superior user experience that would guarantee both return visitors and a continuously expanding customer base of retailers. JCD is excited to be an ongoing partner of Style Sourcebook and will continue to provide design, development and other technical support to the site as it continues to evolve in the years to come.
