Two In Fifty Two is a year-long blog project that looks to compare the journeys of two designers%E2%80%94Timothy Excell who is just starting out in his career and Kylie Timpani who has five years experience in the industry. Each week, Timothy and Kylie post a lesson, story, observation or thoughts about the past week, ending each post with one main take away. For Two In Fifty Two, these take aways are affectionately called %26%238216%3Bdonuts%26%238217%3B %28part of a running joke between Timothy and Kylie which you can read about on twoinfiftytwo.com%2Fabout%29. In order for Timothy to pursue a design career he had to leave his stable job as a highschool English teacher. Two In Fifty Two initially started as a way for Timothy to track his progress during his first year in design. Eventually, we thought it might be even more interesting to see how Timothy%26%238217%3Bs first year in design would compare with Kylie%26%238217%3Bs fifth year. Will they celebrate the same things%3F Think about the same things%3F Struggle with the same things%3F We wanted to find out.
